Avant-Garde Performance and Material Exchange: Vectors of the Radical assembles a remarkable group of scholars to explore how the circulation and exchange of "vectors of the radical" shape the avant-garde. Building upon cutting-edge research, the contributors approach the avant-garde in unprecedented fashion, framing it as a transnational, performance-based culture built upon diverse forms of material exchange.
