Addressing the question of why the Holocaust is still being written, this study brings together Kindertransport writers, those of the Second Generation and those writers who have no personal or communal connection to the Holocaust butwho have felt compelled to testify to the painful adaptations or betrayals of refugees by the nation which rescued so many.
